Was rebuilding with my dad, now I need money to pay for college. Im not happy about selling it but school as we all know isnt cheap.
The motor is a 390 ci V8. The motor is in really good condition. I drove it to work most days in the summer. Has lots of chrom and to my knowledge has all the original chrom accents and pieces. Awesome classic keystone rims. Has a new battery, brand new plugs and wires and recently replaced the brakes, and also it had a summer tune up in May. Like I said I drove it to work most days it was nice out. Has the original plates on it from 64. Pretty cool. Whenever I drive it to a gas station or pretty much anywhere it is parked, I get stopped by someone and end up having a 30 minute conversation about cars. HAHA
39,000 Miles on it. Sat in some old ladies garage for years when I bought it. Clean title, all original everything.
The body and interior show some wear and a little rust here and there, but nothing that is crazy, i mean it is 50 years old! haha
Has a new Alpine CD player installed under the dash to keep all the original parts intact, detatchable face, remote. Also new Alpine speakers all around. 2 in the dash and two in the very large back seat. Sounds great. Subs and amp not included, sorry.
The back window goes up and down automatically. Its pretty awesome and probably the coolest feature that everyone asks and talks about first.
Its a great car that has been fun for me and my dad for a quite some time now, and I am not happy that I have to let it go. I wanted to continue to work on it with my dad and finish all the stuff we never got to. Feels like we did all the dumb and technical stuff, when all I really wanted to do from the beginning was give it an awesome paint job and call it a day, haha. Now someone can come in and customize it to their liking or drive as is like I did. All original is cool to me. Its parked in the garage and has been since end of Sept. It hasnt seen any snow like we have!
We had it appraised 2 summers ago at Yesterday Auto in Minneapolis, and was said to be worth between $xxxx and $xxxx at the time. Since then I have put in a $xxxx CD and stereo system and speakers. Put in a new altinator, all new plugs and wires, a new battery, and a couple other things my dad would be better at discribing. HAHA
I need $xxxx for school so I figured that was a good place to start. Let me know if you are intersted in knowing more or if you dont want to buy the car and maybe just want to donate to my college tuition. haha
